Mô tả việc làm* Work location: Vung Ang Economic Zone, Ha Tinh Province, Vietnam* Job type: full time permanent* Employee type: local VietnamesePOSITION SUMMARYThe Chemical supervisor is responsible for the overall safe, reliable and efficient management of the power plant water chemistry and related issues in accordance with industry standards, environmental restrictions, OEM recommendations, and plant procedures.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESDuties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:• Assist Environmental/Chemical team leader to develop, implement and direct the policy, procedures and practices for the safe and efficient production and treatment of all plant water systems, including raw water, cooling water, boiler feedwater and waste water.• Monitor the quality of all plant water systems and direct treatment and production as required to ensure that facility equipment life, operational efficiency and environmental compliance is maintained.• Direct testing to ensure coal and other fuel meets contracted standards.• Communicate with the Maintenance Department to ensure that equipment malfunctions affecting water quality, such as a condenser tube, receive prompt maintenance.• Interpret laboratory test results and advise on impact of test results to the plant operation.• Make routine daily, weekly and monthly reports as required.• Perform additional duties as required.* VAPCO is a fair Employer. Supercritical unit experience desired.• Available to work overtime and/or weekends if required.• Ability to conduct Planning and problem analysis regarding all plant water systems of the coal power plant.• Possess business level communications skills in English (written and verbal) and be computer literate.
